Organized by Practical Action, Christian Aid and ONE, this consultation meeting brought together six members of the UN Secretary-General’s High-level Group on Sustainable Energy for All and representatives from 31 civil society organizations and academic institutions from across the UK and Europe to exchange views on the Secretary-General’s Sustainable Energy for All Initiative (SE4ALL). A list of the civil society organizations and academic institutions that participated is available here. The two-hour meeting occurred in London on the margins of the 24 April meeting of Principal Members of the High-level Group, as well as the 25-26 April Clean Energy Ministerial.<\/p>\n

Initial remarks were delivered by four of the six High-level Group Members on the panel and two Executive Heads of civil society organizations. Nine civil society representatives in the audience then contributed comments and questions. The session concluded with responses by the High-level Group Members and the<\/p>\n
