{"id":212,"date":"2010-07-23T14:39:28","date_gmt":"2010-07-23T14:39:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earthsummit2012.stakeholderforum.org\/2010\/07\/23\/stakeholder-forum-uk-stakeholder-meeting-report-15th-july-2010\/"},"modified":"2010-07-23T14:39:28","modified_gmt":"2010-07-23T14:39:28","slug":"stakeholder-forum-uk-stakeholder-meeting-report-15th-july-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earthsummit2012.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/stakeholder-forum-uk-stakeholder-meeting-report-15th-july-2010\/","title":{"rendered":"UK Stakeholder Meeting, 15th July 2010, Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 15th July 2010 Stakeholder Forum brought together a diverse range  of UK stakeholders to discuss the Rio+20 Earth Summit and the outcomes  from the first preparatory meeting (PrepComm1), which took place in New  York from 17th-19th May 2010.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The morning meeting took place at the Bloomsbury Central Baptist  Church on Shaftesbury Avenue, London. Over 30 people participated in the  meeting representing a range of organisations and groups, including  NGOs, community groups, trade unions, government, business and many  more.<\/p>\n<p>There were  presentations from Hannah Stoddart, Head of Policy and Advocacy at  Stakeholder Forum; Felix Dodds, Executive Director at Stakeholder Forum;  Derek Osborn, President of Stakeholder Forum and Jane Stratford, Defra. Analysis of  Country Positions at PrepCom1<\/a>: Green Economy and Institutional  Framework for Sustainable Development<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Possible  Outcomes from Rio+20 \u2013 this is a Working Paper and is still in  development, and will be available in due course.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Stakeholder Forum will be hosting further meetings of UK stakeholders  over the coming months to
