{"id":330,"date":"2010-11-03T15:50:14","date_gmt":"2010-11-03T15:50:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earthsummit2012.stakeholderforum.org\/2010\/11\/03\/business-green-econ-meeting\/"},"modified":"2010-11-03T15:50:14","modified_gmt":"2010-11-03T15:50:14","slug":"business-green-econ-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earthsummit2012.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/business-green-econ-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Major Groups and Stakeholders Consultation on Green Economy &#8211; 26 October 2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A series of consultations with Major Groups and stakeholders was held by the MGSB, Major Groups and Stakeholders Branch (MGSB) from 25th to 26th October 2010.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p> Two main topics were discussed, namely the International Environmental Governance (IEG) and the idea of a Green Economy (GE).<\/p>\n<p>The expected outcome of the Consultation is to get policy recommendations from major groups and stakeholders on the potential for a Green Economy to address global development and environmental challenges.
