{"id":669,"date":"2011-08-23T14:10:31","date_gmt":"2011-08-23T14:10:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earthsummit2012.stakeholderforum.org\/2011\/08\/23\/poland-green-economy-meeting\/"},"modified":"2011-08-23T14:10:31","modified_gmt":"2011-08-23T14:10:31","slug":"poland-green-economy-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earthsummit2012.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/poland-green-economy-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Sharing Green Economy Best Practices Towards Rio+20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>11 Oct 2011 &#8211; 12 Oct 2011<br \/>Warsaw, Poland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of the Environment of Poland is organising a high-level conference  aimed at consultation between EU member states and key countries in the  process of preparing for the Rio+20 conference in 2012, presentation of  the best examples of green initiatives aimed at presenting each  partner&#8217;s position, and consultation aimed at bringing positions closer  and supporting UNDESA in preparing the ambitious result of the RIO+20  conference.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One of the two key topics for the conference is green economy in the  context of reducing poverty,and for this reason the meeting in Warsaw  will also serve as consideration for the practical examples of the way  in which this objective can be achieved. Green economy is a tool for  achieving sustainable development. The means to achieve this may be  diverse.
