{"id":807,"date":"2011-10-31T12:40:11","date_gmt":"2011-10-31T12:40:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earthsummit2012.stakeholderforum.org\/2011\/10\/31\/zero-draft-workers-a-trade-unions\/"},"modified":"2011-10-31T12:40:11","modified_gmt":"2011-10-31T12:40:11","slug":"zero-draft-workers-a-trade-unions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earthsummit2012.stakeholderforum.org\/index.php\/zero-draft-workers-a-trade-unions\/","title":{"rendered":"Workers &#038; Trade Unions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>What are the expectations for the outcome of Rio+20, and what are  the concrete proposals in this regard, including views on a possible  structure of the Outcome document? <\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>The International Trade Union Confederation sees two different set of  outcomes for Rio+20: a concrete set of decisions that governments need  to implement, and be hold accountable for, from day one and a  declaration, with the main aspects of the agreements on the objective  and the themes of the conference. <\/p>\n<p>Leaders\u2019 commitments at the Summit level <\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A commitment to implement the Universal Social Protection Floor initiative by 2020. <\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A decision on the Financial Transactions Tax.  <\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A country by country self-identified target on decent and green  jobs to be reached in the next 5-10 years, accompanied by a package of  decent work policies to secure jobs quality.
