Capacity Building Training for Rio+20

On November 30, in collaboration with the UNECE, Stakeholder Forum presented a capacity-building training for representatives of Major Groups attending the UNECE Regional Preparatory Meeting for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development. Don Edwards, an International Advisory Board member of Stakeholder Forum and veteran NGO sustainable development advocate, conducted the three part training. The training “All Roads Lead to Rio” addressed the following subjects:  Part 1-“All Roads Lead to Rio”, Part 2-“The Rio+20 Process and Framework” and Part 3-“The Rio+20 Agenda”.

In total 41 representatives of Major Groups participated in the training.
