IUCN holds meeting on sustainable development in the 21st Century
The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has held a meeting attended by key players and experts from the environment and sustainable development community to discuss how to implement sustainable development in the 21st Century.
The outputs of the meeting are to contribute to the work of the High Level Panel on Global Sustainability (GSP) established by the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon “to formulate a new blueprint for sustainable growth and low-carbon prosperity for all on a planet under increasing strain, not least from climate change”.
