Ban Ki-moon to end hands-on involvement in climate change talks

The UN Secretary General has expressed his will to end his hands-on involvement in the UNFCCC process, according to an article in the Guardian newspaper.

It is claimed that his efforts will instead become more concentrated on a broader agenda of clean energy and sustainable development promotion, with a view to achieving more immediate gains.
