“Making Rio 2012 work” – New York University, Center on International Cooperation

Rio-2012-paper-1Alex Evans and David Steven of New York University’s Center on International Cooperation have produced a publication entitled ‘Making Rio 2012 Work: Setting the stage for global economic, social and ecological renewal’.

The publication provides a brief overview of the intervening time since the first Earth Summit in 1992 as well as recommendations as to what Rio+20 should focus on and how it might succeed in areas such as ‘Greening Growth’ and ‘Equity in a world of limits’.
