Interactive Dialogue of the General Assembly on Harmony with Nature

On 20th April 2011, in commemoration of Mother Earth Day, the UN General Assembly in New York is to hold an interactive dialogue on harmony with nature, set to examine how humans can better connect with the environment around them.

Themes of the session include looking at ways to promote a holistic approach to sustainable development in harmony with nature; and an overview of different national experiences on the measurement of sustainable development in harmony with nature.
