SIDE EVENT: Redefining Development Governance and Increasing Transparency, Public Participation and Accountability
Stakeholder Forum, along with the Access Initiative, the World Resources Institute (WRI) and XIX Article 19, are to hold a Side Event on Development Governance at the UNCSD PrepCom 2 from 6:15-7:45pm on Monday, March 7th, 2011.
The event will be chaired by Henrietta Elizabeth Thompson, Executive Coordinator, UNCSD, with speakers including Jeremy Wates, Incoming Secretary General, European Environmental Bureau; Joseph Foti, Senior Associate, World Resources Institute; a representative from the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC); Derek Osborn, President of Stakeholder Forum (SF); and Jan-Gustav Strandenaes, consultant to SF on ISDG.
