The High-Level Symposium on the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development will be co-organized by the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Rio+20 Secretariat in Beijing, China on 8-9 September 2011.
The Symposium is intended to offer an opportunity for in-depth discussions among government officials, experts, and representatives from the United Nations system as well as Major Groups on both the objective and the two themes of Rio+20, with a view to formulating concrete proposals as a contribution to the preparation of the Conference.
The Meeting will be held in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Beijing, China. All meeting sessions will be held at this venue.
