Rio+20 Consultation, British Columbia Green Economy and Governance for Sustainable Development
On Wednesday 22 June 2011, at the Liu Institute for Global Issues (University of British Columbia’s Point Grey campus), a consultation was organised by the Canadian Environmental Network to provide public input to Rio+20.
This consultation was part of a Canada-wide process facilitated by the Canadian Environmental Network, organized in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme Regional Office for North America (UNEP RONA) and supported by Foreign Affairs Canada and the UK-based organization Stakeholder Forum.
The focus was on the green economy in the context of poverty eradication.
