In the run-up to the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) in 2002, Stakeholder Forum co-ordinated the development of a number of ‘Non-Papers’.
These papers were based on discussions among and between governmental and non-government stakeholders, and outlined priorities for the Summit and made recommendations on process and modalities. The term ‘Non-Paper’ is used to indicate that the recommendations arising from the paper do not necessarily reflect the views of all the participants in the discussions.
