Stakeholders’ meeting to develop Action Plan on Forests and the Green Economy
On 10th May 2011, Stakeholders across the UN Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) region are invited to participate in a discussion on developing an Action Plan on Forests and the Green Economy.
The event, to be held in Geneva, is being organised by UNECE/FAO Forestry and Timber Section, in cooperation with UNEP, and will involve a brainstorming session and a structured discussion in working groups. Stakeholders active on forest-sector issues, ranging from environmental NGOs, academia, research organizations and government representatives throughout the UNECE region, are invited to join in the discussion and express their views.
