Collectif Rio+20

Collectif RIO+20”gathers more than 40 organizations of French civil society – NGOs, citizen movements and trade unions. Our main goals are the valorization of civil society expertise and mobilization for the transition to sustainable societies. In this sense, we are pleased to announce the release of our contribution to the Rio-2012 Conference preparation.

In more detail, our main recommendations to UNCSD process:

· A civilization shift
· Facing outdated thresholds of acceptability and viability: prepare the  transition
· A sustainable end of crisis requires criteria of general interest, tax instruments for transition, scales to establish solidarities…
· Democratic progress, the condition to a reinforced governance based on general interest
· Rethink international architecture of governance in the United Nations for more regulation and new engagements
